Kingdom Children is dedicated to promoting the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of children and youth in Liberia and the Ivory Coast. We offer a comprehensive approach to child development, including annual healthcare checkups, to ensure that every child can thrive.
We presently serve at least 300 children in Liberia.

Founder Thurston Jones is a retired elementary school teacher from Philadelphia PA . He taught for over 30 years and directed a day and overnight camp for 24 years. He presently pastors a church outside of Philadelphia and oversees 48 churches in Liberia.

Co founder Victoria Nyema began the work in Liberia shortly after Pastor Jones arrived. She was instrumental in explaining the program to parents. The program quickly grew from 15 to over 100 in Liberia in a matter of weeks. Unfortunately, she passed away in August 2024 after a brief illness. Now other team members carry on her work.
